Senior Art Psychotherapist
Xu Ning is a registered Art Therapist with the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association (ANZACATA). With a background in psychology, she is dedicated to supporting adults and older adults in reconnecting with themselves through creativity, compassion, and reflection.
Her early experience as a research assistant and special needs educator informs her strengths-based, person-centred approach. During her art therapy training, she completed clinical placements in child protection and substance recovery settings, shaping her trauma-informed and relational practice.

Xu Ning currently works across private practice and a community hospital, supporting patients in rehabilitation and palliative care. Integrating somatic and attachment-based principles, she uses artmaking to help clients process emotional pain, foster self-compassion, and rebuild a sense of meaning and safety.
